SOLEOS has advised Cologne-based Installion GmbH on the acquisition of a stake of around 30 percent in the assembly platform provider by energy service provider enercity Aktiengesellschaft. The parties have agreed not to disclose the purchase price of the stake.
Installion implements assembly work of photovoltaic systems, e-charging boxes and storage units via its digital platform. By establishing new sites, Installion plans to double its existing network from the current 10 to 20 local hubs with over 30 teams by the end of 2022. The platform provider will thus be able to provide installation capacities quickly, efficiently and in consistently high quality.
As a new shareholder, enercity is adding a strategically important line of business to its portfolio.
