SOLEOS has advised the sonnen Group, one of the world’s innovation leaders in storage and networking technologies, on the acquisition of the highly specialized solar installation companies Buschmann Energietechnik GmbH and Franke Elektrotechnik GmbH.
Through the merger with Buschmann Energietechnik and Franke Elektrotechnik, which is still subject to antitrust approval, sonnen gains additional resources in the Weser-Ems district and northern Bavaria to drive the energy transition with a strong partner network.
Buschmann Energietechnik, already operating in its third generation, draws on decades of experience in which the company has repeatedly demonstrated innovative strength and the pursuit of progress.
Since the mid-1990s, Franke Elektrotechnik has been ensuring that Bavarian households and businesses can “harvest” solar power from their roofs. For this pioneering work, the company was named “Company of the Year” by the Bavarian Retail Association back in 1998.
Both companies, which have many years of experience in the planning and installation of solar systems – both in the private and commercial sector -, will continue to operate independently under the same company name, and the longstanding successful management and the executive board will be retained.
SOLEOS has been advising the sonnen Group in the areas of corporate and M&A since March 2015 and has, among other things, accompanied the acquisition of the stake in Energeticum Energiesysteme GmbH, enersol GmbH and Energieinsel GmbH.
